Notes

A longtime collaborator of legendary composer Philip Glass, Michael Riesman has conducted several of Glass' recordings including the landmark compositions "Einstein on the Beach", "Koyaanisqatsi" and "Songs from Liquid Days". When Mr. Glass was approached to participate on this recording, he choose Mr. Riesman as the pianist to interpret his work. Last year, Riesman's recording of his ballet, "Formal Abandon", featuring his work as a pianist, won high praise for its originality, composition and technique.
