Son of José and Aurora, I was born in 1965 in Montilla (Córdoba, Andalucía) at the South of Spain, a country of the European Union.

My interest to music is not professional (I am a computer science engineer) but as a listener only for my own pleasure. I like many kinds of music but what focuses my main interest is the contemporary classical music and specially the music with repetitive structures, as Philip Glass likes to define his music in a open sense. My favorite composer is by far Philip Glass, but I have also a large discography by other related composers (see the Links section).

I have written from my own collection, the Discography, Bibliography and Films sections of Glass Pages. I am always expectant on Philip Glass activity and this is reflected on the News, Articles, Operas and Links sections. Concerning concerts, I have attended six operas and several performances of the Philip Glass Ensemble, orchestras, ballets and film screenings in several countries.

I have tried to enrich Glass Pages not only as a great fan of Philip Glass's music but from a serious musicologist point of view in order to pay tribute to Mr. Glass and to make more widely known through the Internet, his gigantic and wonderful contribution to history of music.
